I can't believe I am writing this. I just don't know what else to do  . My company I was working for closed down back in April. My family and I where supposed to be moving to Fort Pierce with my husbands work but that fell through at the last minute. Unfortunitly during the few weeks prior to our moving date our lease expired and we moved into a hotel just temporarly until we moved to the other coast. One week before the move the deal on the building his company was purchasing feel thru and the move was cancelled. So right now with me trying to find work and the move being cancelled we are stuck at the hotel until I am able to get working again. The cost of the room and with only one income we just dont have ANY extra money at all. Every bit of money is needed for the bills. I just do not have any way to purchase any gifts for my 3 year old son. The thought of him not getting anything for Christmas just breaks my heart. He is a great kid and how do I explain to him that Santa is broke?? I have made some contacts in my area for assistance however the people I can speak with cannot help me because my hotel room is just North of their service area. They said they cannot provide me with any other contacts that could help in my area. I have sent emails and calls to the contacts I can locate but I am not getting responses back and I am running out of time to meet their sign up deadlines. I have never had issues with providing Christimas for my son and I just have no idea what I am going to do.

If anyone out there could help me any ideas or any contacts that assist with this sort of thing it will be greatly appreciated.

I am in need of financial help! This is extremely difficult and embarrassing for me to ask for help, but I don't know where else to turn. My whole family is struggling and they have helped all that they can. I am a full-time 4th grade teacher. I teach 4 adult technology classes two nights a week and also work at a gym the rest of the time that I have left. I am a couple thousand dollars behind on my basic bills at this time and every month it just gets worse. I am not lazy, I do not pity myself, for I am very fortunate for what I do have. Though I am struggling, I know that I am luckier than many. I am just scared and I don't want my situation to become worse. I have outstanding debts on credit and student loans already. I am just wanting help for the basics right now (utilities, transportation, rent, food). Because I am single, have no kids, and have a job(s), it is even more difficult to find support in my community. I am very proud to be a teacher, but I feel that as a respected leader in my community I am failing to demonstrate to my students how to be responsible and independent. I have always taken care of myself since I was a teenager and never depended on anyone, not even my parents. Now, I have no choice. Can you help me?
